Synopsis
Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie (可愛いだけじゃない式守さん, 2022) is a Japanese romantic comedy anime series you can watch online on iFILM, adapted from Keigo Masu's manga and produced by Doga Kobo. The show follows Izumi Yu, a high-school student whose bad luck is borderline supernatural — accidents seem to find him wherever he goes.
His girlfriend Shikimori looks like your average cute and cheerful girl. Then a crisis hits, and a different side of her shows up: calm, fast, and completely in control. She is always there before Izumi even registers the danger. The series builds its charm around that dynamic — and around how comfortable Izumi is with not being the one who saves the day.
