"Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf" (2024) is a Japanese fantasy anime to watch online on iFILM, adapted from Isuna Hasekura's light novels. Kraft Lawrence is a traveling merchant hauling goods across a medieval world, saving up for a shop of his own. He finds a wolf deity named Holo asleep in his cart. Holo has been worshipped as a harvest goddess for centuries, but the village no longer needs her. She wants to go home, far north to Yoitsu, and Lawrence agrees to take her — in exchange, she helps with the economics of trading. She turns out to be frighteningly good at it.
