Snack Shack

Snack Shack (2024) is an American coming-of-age comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Adam Rehmeier. Nebraska, 1991: best friends AJ (Gabriel LaBelle) and Moose (Conor Sherry) talk their way into running the concession stand at the local pool — their grand plan for a profitable summer. Nick Robinson plays a slightly older friend just back from the army, watching the whole situation from a knowing distance. The film earns its laughs without being mean about it — the boys are ambitious in exactly the way teenagers are ambitious, which is to say not very efficiently, but with total conviction. Rehmeier sets it in a summer that feels genuinely lived-in: bad decisions, good intentions, the particular mix of pride and embarrassment that comes with being seventeen and certain you know what you want.
