Synopsis
Star Wars Rebels (2014) Season 1 — Disney's animated action series, 13 episodes, watch online on iFILM. Set in the years between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, when the Empire has nearly finished what Order 66 started and the Rebellion does not yet exist.
On the planet Lothal, a street kid named Ezra stumbles into the crew of the Ghost: Kanan the ex-Jedi, pilot Hera, graffiti-artist Sabine, bruiser Zeb, and the cantankerous droid Chopper. They pick fights with the Empire one mission at a time. Ezra begins Jedi training. The stakes climb episode by episode — weapons heists, an undercover stint at the Imperial Academy, protecting refugees — until Kanan is captured and the season ends in a full-scale rescue operation.
