Synopsis
Season 8 of The Brokenwood Mysteries (2014) is the New Zealand detective series to watch online on iFILM — six episodes that hand Mike Shepherd and Kristin Sims their strangest cases yet.
It opens with a corpse the local museum unearths alongside the town's own history. Then a festival-goer is killed, quite literally, by sound. A woman in a remote beach community is bludgeoned and locked inside a house that isn't hers. The world champion of a daft pastime called spoofing turns up dead in a fountain. A gold feud that's simmered for a century and a half draws fresh gunfire, and the finale traces a string of fires whose "accidental" victims keep piling up.
