MasterChef (2010), Season 16 is the cooking competition you can watch online on iFILM — eight episodes running under the banner MasterChef: Global Gauntlet.
This run borrows its shape from the World Cup. Twenty home cooks split into four squads tied to where they come from — the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific — and cook food that carries that heritage. The first four nights are auditions, five white aprons handed out per region. Then it gets stranger: stadium snacks reworked into fine plates, mystery boxes holding nothing but eggs, a personal spin on Eggs Benedict from each cook. A team round even pulls in football coach Mauricio Pochettino, and the stretch closes by turning the kitchen into a backyard barbecue.

Twenty standout home cooks from the audition rounds, five per region, face off in a World Cup-inspired challenge to create elevated versions of classic stadium foods infused with their own cultural flair. With the first immunity pin of the season on the line, protecting both the winning home cook and their region, the kitchen erupts into chaos and panic. One competitor ultimately faces elimination.

Each contestant must let their culture shine by creating a unique take on the iconic Eggs Benedict.
