Then the murders begin — bodies arranged in ritual circles, messages signed with a name no living person could have written. The series operates as a double puzzle: on the surface a locked-room whodunit, underneath a sustained argument about whether magic can exist if no one can disprove it. Director Hiroyuki Tsuchiya and his team never hand you a resolution — that's deliberate.
