Synopsis
Once Upon a Snowman (2020) is a Disney animated short you can watch online on iFILM. In eight minutes it fills a gap left by Frozen: what Olaf got up to during the very first moments of his life, before he ever met Anna and Kristoff.
Newly built and wide-eyed, the snowman comes to life in the mountains outside Arendelle and sets off to find the carrot that should be his nose. Along the way he wrestles with his own wandering feet, settles on a name and dreams about summer for the first time. Josh Gad voices Olaf again, and all of his cheerful, clueless humor is intact.
Directors Dan Abraham and Trent Correy stitched the story together from animation cut out of the original film, so it slots neatly beside scenes fans already know.
