Teen outcast Jake Wheeler buys a vintage Good Guy doll at a yard sale to use in his art. The doll has other ideas. Chucky — the puppet shell of serial killer Charles Lee Ray — starts working on Jake like a slow pressure campaign: cover for me, cover for me again, now do something worse. While the murders pile up across town, Jake is trying to figure out who he is, build something real with Devon, and survive Lexy's cruelty. The show layers his coming-of-age arc over genuine kills, and by the final episodes enemies and allies from Chucky's long past start arriving — widening the stakes beyond one small town.
