Synopsis
Derry Girls (2018), Season 3 is the Channel 4 comedy you can watch online on iFILM — seven episodes that drop Erin, Orla, Clare, Michelle and the wee English fella James back into 1990s Northern Ireland.
It opens the night before GCSE results, with the gang's confidence at rock bottom and a half-baked scheme already brewing. From there it's a school talent show, a sandwich-packed day trip to Portrush, a parent-free house in Donegal, and a Halloween gig nobody wants to miss. The girls are creeping toward adulthood. Their judgement is not improving, and that is exactly the point.
Lisa McGee winds the story toward Erin and Orla's joint eighteenth birthday, letting the politics of Derry press quietly against all the teenage nonsense.
