The Calling

The Calling (2014) is a Canadian crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Susan Sarandon plays Detective Hazel Micallef, a sharp but worn-down investigator in the small town of Port Dundas — until a series of killings in the surrounding countryside pulls her back into something much bigger than anything she has faced before. Donald Sutherland, Topher Grace and Ellen Burstyn round out the cast.

Each victim is elderly, apparently unafraid, and connected by a pattern Hazel can't immediately name. As she and her new partner dig into the rural crime scenes, the motive that emerges is stranger and colder than simple violence.
