Synopsis
The Afterparty (2022), Season 1 is a crime-comedy whodunit you can watch online on iFILM — eight episodes that open with a death at a high school reunion's afterparty, where every guest left standing becomes a suspect.
Detective Danner questions the old classmates one at a time, and that's where the show's trick kicks in. Each suspect narrates the same night through a different film genre. Aniq remembers it as an awkward rom-com. Brett retells it as an action movie where he's the hero out to win his family back. Yasper turns the evening into a full musical, Chelsea into a jittery psychological thriller. Motives pile up, the accounts contradict each other, and every thread keeps looping back to a party fifteen years earlier.
