Synopsis
Butterfly (2025) is a spy action-drama you can watch online on iFILM. David Jung, a former US intelligence operative, has spent years lying low in South Korea. Then a decision he buried decades ago catches up with him.
The killer sent to erase him is Rebecca — young, ice-cold, trained never to hesitate. She is also his daughter, raised to believe he died long ago. Both are now in the sights of Caddis, the shadowy agency Rebecca answers to, and it does not tolerate loose ends. Daniel Dae Kim plays a man cornered by his own past; Reina Hardesty plays a weapon that suddenly recognizes its target. Piper Perabo and Park Hae-soo round out the cast.
Adapted from the Boom! Studios graphic novel and relocated to Seoul, the show uses its Korean setting as part of the story's pulse rather than backdrop. Across eight episodes it keeps switching gears between chases and a wounded family reunion, which is the rare spy thriller really built around a father and the daughter sent to kill him.
