Synopsis

Lawyer Thomas Farrell has built a lucrative career getting mobsters off on technicalities. He's good at it. He doesn't think much about what it means.
Then he meets a showgirl at a mob party, and something shifts. Farrell wants out. But crime boss Rico Angelo — played by Cobb at his most quietly menacing — has an answer for that: he'll go after her, not Farrell. Ray turns that standoff into a study of how long someone can keep telling themselves that a deal with the devil is just business.
