It opens hard. Something tears a door between Constantine's mind and the waking world, and the demons he carries inside take on flesh, hungry to kill the man who made them. From there it's a possessed girl named Trish, a desperate call to the Nightmare Nurse from across the veil, and a drive through Los Angeles with Chas while old guilt drags him back to Newcastle — to the night he summoned a real demon and paid for it. The finale puts him face to face with the lord of a hellish mansion and a choice that turns the stomach.
