Synopsis
Record of Ragnarok (終末のワルキューレ, 2021), Season 1 — watch online on iFILM. All 12 episodes open with a verdict: the gods of every pantheon vote to erase humanity from the world.
Valkyrie Brunhilde proposes a tournament instead. Thirteen rounds, humanity's greatest warriors across history against the mightiest gods. Season one runs three of those bouts. Han dynasty warlord Lü Bu steps into the ring against Norse god Thor and forces him to fight at full strength for the first time in memory. Adam — the first man — faces Zeus himself, armed with little more than a knuckleduster and the hatred of centuries. Seventeenth-century Japanese swordsman Kojiro Sasaki draws Poseidon, a god who has simply never lost. Each fight operates on the same internal architecture: a fighter's defining history, a Valkyrie transformed into a weapon, and one technique that either lands or ends everything. No human loss is symbolic — every defeat counts toward the thirteen that would seal humanity's fate.
