Synopsis

Rollo fought against his brother and surrendered. Ragnar let him live. Four years pass, and Kattegat has new sons, new ships, and a shaky arrangement with King Horik. Then Jarl Borg seizes the village while Ragnar is raiding England, and the new earl has to reclaim his own home before anything else. Lagertha solves her Hedeby situation with considerably less hesitation — one husband fewer, one earldom gained. Horik keeps showing up to feast and keeps planning something bigger.
