Synopsis
The Neighbor (2016) is a lean American horror-thriller directed by Marcus Dunstan — watch it online on iFILM. Josh Stewart plays John, a small-time drug runner who comes home one day to find his girlfriend gone. When he slips into the house next door looking for answers, he finds her in the basement along with other people who have been kept there.
The neighbor is coming back. That's the whole engine. Dunstan — who wrote the Saw sequels and directed The Collector — doesn't overload the story with backstory or subplots. He sets up a small town where people mind their own business, places one monster in a neat-looking house, and then runs the clock down.
