Synopsis

Cooper and Leah want a fresh start, but the house won't let the past stay buried. The deeper Cooper digs into the manor's records, the clearer it gets: this quiet patch of countryside hides something violent, and the neighbor who grins by day is dangerous after dark. Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone play the couple, Stephen Dorff is the menacing Massie, and a young Kristen Stewart appears as their daughter.
Figgis skips cheap scares for a slow-burn story about an intruder and the moment a safe home stops feeling safe. Christopher Plummer and Juliette Lewis round out the cast.
