TV-PGSynopsis
Watch Black Books (2000), Season 3 online on iFILM — the sitcom's final six episodes, with drunken shopkeeper Bernard, gentle dogsbody Manny and waster Fran back for one last round.
It opens on a split: Manny has defected to the Goliath chain next door, and without him Bernard's shop rots into a heap of mouldering books and dead badgers. From there the disasters pile up small and fast. A bet over writing a children's book in a weekend. A dreaded visit from Manny's smothering parents. A sudden gambling habit that pits Fran and Manny against each other for one job, a glamorous travel writer they both fall for, and a closing party where old grudges finally surface.
Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey play these three to the edge of absurdity and refuse to soften them for the goodbye. If the first two seasons landed, this last one keeps the same mean tenderness. Stream the final season of Black Books online on iFILM.
