Synopsis
The Mosquito Coast (2021) Season 1 — a drama thriller in seven episodes you can watch online on iFILM. Brilliant inventor and unbending idealist Allie Fox tears his family off the grid and runs south, with the U.S. government already on his heels.
This whole season is a chase on foot. The off-grid life collapses overnight, the Foxes put their lives in the hands of two coyotes, trek across the desert, and wash up at a lavish hacienda where the matriarch treats them as bargaining chips. The closer they get to Mexico City and Allie's secret contact, the clearer it becomes that the father is hiding plenty — from wife Margot and the kids most of all. Seven chapters keep asking not where they're running, but what from.
