Synopsis
Fresh Meat (2011), Season 1 — eight episodes of British comedy-drama, watch online on iFILM. Six students who missed out on halls end up sharing a house in Manchester's Whalley Range: JP the entitled public-school kid, jittery Kingsley, wide-eyed Josie, socially malfunctioning Howard, hard-living Vod, and Oregon, who works very hard at seeming interesting.
The first season drops them all in at once. A party collapses the moment Josie's boyfriend shows up. Kingsley switches to Drama to chase Ruth and immediately starts two-timing Josie. Oregon's flirtation with Professor Shales snowballs into a genuine affair that eventually goes very public — and reveals along the way that her real name is Melissa. None of the six ever looks like they have any idea what they're doing, and the show earns its laughs precisely because it never lets them off the hook. Season 1 is a sharper freshman comedy than most.

Oregon resolves to break off her affair with Professor Shales, but he wrong-foots her by leaving his wife and turning up on her doorstep. Brian begs Howard to resume their friendship.

Josie embarks on a 'girl power' booze and sex fest with help from Vod. JP helps Ralph organise the Love Cloud club night but it clashes with his dad's funeral.
