Synopsis
The Girlfriend (2025) is a psychological thriller starring Robin Wright that you can watch online on iFILM. Laura has everything she wanted — a London art gallery, a steady husband, and an adored son named Daniel. Then Daniel walks in with a new girlfriend, Cherry, and the floor tilts.
The two women dislike each other from the first hello. Laura is sure Cherry (Olivia Cooke) is hiding something and angling for the family's money. Cherry is just as sure her boyfriend's mother resents anyone who gets close to him. The show replays the same moments from both points of view, and the truth flips each time you think you've caught it. One of them is lying — or maybe both are, and you're left without anyone safe to trust.
Adapted from Michelle Frances's novel, the series has Robin Wright directing several episodes as well as playing Laura herself. It's a cold, controlled study of possession and class, made for people who'd rather watch two characters circle each other — closer to Big Little Lies than to any chase thriller.
