Synopsis
Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead (2008) is a Canadian horror thriller directed by Louis Morneau — watch it online on iFILM. Four friends are headed to Las Vegas when the car quits on a dark backroad. They spot a house, find a car in the garage, and borrow it. Simple fix. Except the owner is Rusty Nail, a serial killer who takes vehicle theft very personally.
From the moment he discovers his car is missing, the group has no safe moves. Kayla and her friends — played by Nicki Aycox and Nick Zano among others — spend the rest of the night learning that the detour was the worst decision they ever made. Rusty Nail doesn't rush, doesn't explain himself, and doesn't negotiate. That's the film's one genuine strength: the threat feels mechanical and relentless rather than theatrical.
