Resurrected

Resurrected (2023) is a sci-fi thriller from Russian director Egor Baranov you can watch online on iFILM. In a near future, the Vatican has cracked the secret of bringing the dead back — and the first to return is a boy named Nick, killed in a car crash.

Years pass and the world splits in two: those who defend the right to a second life and those who call it blasphemy. Nick's father Stanley (Dave Davis) now preaches in a virtual church of the resurrected. Then one of his parishioners commits a massacre, and Stanley learns it isn't the first. With the Vatican burying the evidence and his own family at risk, he starts digging. Carlie Hall, Erica Chase and Kristen Ariza round out the cast.

Baranov takes a horror premise and bends it into a paranoid story about faith, control and what happens when death stops being final. Best for viewers who like their science fiction bleak and morally queasy. Stream Resurrected (2023) online on iFILM.
