Synopsis

Sherlock Holmes (1984), Season 2 brings Granada's Jeremy Brett detective back for six more episodes you can watch online on iFILM — another set of Conan Doyle stories, with the stakes climbing toward the end.

It opens on "The Copper Beeches," where a governess is offered suspiciously good pay to cut off her hair, and the kindness hides someone else's secret. Then Watson finally meets Mycroft, the older brother who thinks even faster than Holmes himself. "The Red-Headed League" dangles an absurd job that turns out to mask a bold crime, while "The Norwood Builder" puts an innocent solicitor's neck on the line. And then Professor Moriarty steps properly into frame for the first time — and quiet London runs out.

This season is darker than the first: fewer drawing-room puzzles, more danger aimed straight at Holmes. Brett walks his detective toward the confrontation Doyle's readers always dreaded. A clean pick for anyone who likes classic mystery with the period intact. Stream Sherlock Holmes Season 2 online on iFILM.
