Synopsis

The series grows out of reporting by Jeff Sharlet, who once lived inside the group he calls the Fellowship. It runs the National Prayer Breakfast, courts senators and foreign strongmen, avoids letterhead and press, and treats power itself as proof of being chosen. Former insiders speak on camera while archival footage and dramatized scenes fill in what happened behind closed doors.
