Synopsis
Spider-Man: The New Animated Series (2003), Season 1 is MTV's CGI take on the web-slinger you can watch online on iFILM — thirteen episodes that pick up after Sam Raimi's first film.
Peter Parker is in college now, juggling classes, a photography gig and a costume. The season runs mostly as standalone cases. He clashes with an old friend at a frat party, hunts a cat-burglar named Talon who turns out to be Harry's girlfriend, and watches his own mentor mutate into the bitter Lizard. Electro, a Kingpin setup, hired killers and a jet-powered Robin Hood each take a turn. Underneath all of it sits ordinary life — coursework, feelings for Mary Jane, never enough cash. The closing two-parter, Mind Games, drops Peter into his most exposed spot yet when someone starts rewriting his thoughts.
