Synopsis
The Librarians (2014), Season 1 is a fantasy-adventure you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes guarding the world's most dangerous magical artifacts.
NATO colonel Eve Baird signs on as Guardian to veteran Librarian Flynn Carsen, and with three raw recruits she takes on the Serpent Brotherhood, a cult bent on flooding the modern world with magic. Most episodes stand on their own: the crown of King Arthur and the sword in the stone, a kidnapped Santa at Christmas, waking dragons, fairy tales turning feral in a small town, a haunted house that hunts its victims, and a town hiding something inhuman. Ezekiel, Jake and Cassandra learn to work as a team on the job.
Spun off from the Noah Wyle movies, the show keeps its tone light and knowingly silly — a mystery of the week, a season-long hunt for the lost Library, and a finale at the Loom of Fate.
