TV-14Season 1
From the universe of Doctor Who.
Synopsis
Class (2016), Season 1 — watch this sci-fi drama online on iFILM, eight episodes set in the Doctor Who universe. At London's Coal Hill Academy the walls of space and time have worn thin, and things keep coming through.
It opens at an autumn prom that the Shadow Kin tear apart. Four students who barely knew each other — Charlie, April, Ram and Tanya — are thrown together, along with their unsettling teacher Miss Quill. From there the season alternates monster-of-the-week with the teenagers' own wounds. One alien arrives wearing the faces of the dead. April finds her heart bound to Corakinus, king of the Shadow Kin, and every attempt to sever the link only tightens it. A plain after-school detention flings the group outside of time, where buried truths surface and the friendship starts to crack. The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) drops in just once — saving Earth is on them.
Created by author Patrick Ness for BBC Three, it pitches darker than its parent show: blood, sex, grief, the cost of every choice. The eight episodes tell one complete story. Stream Class Season 1 online on iFILM.
