Class (Season 1)

Class (2016) is a British science-fiction series set in the Doctor Who universe, and you can watch online on iFILM. It takes place at Coal Hill School in London, where the Doctor's many visits have worn the walls of space and time dangerously thin.

Five sixth-formers end up as Earth's only line of defence against the creatures slipping through those cracks. The catch: they still have to deal with ordinary teenage life — first relationships, sex, fights with parents, exam pressure, raw grief. Charlie hides that he isn't human at all, April shares her heart with an alien warrior king, and their sharp-tongued physics teacher Miss Quill is forced to keep them alive. The Twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi, drops in for a single episode before leaving them on their own.

The show was created by novelist Patrick Ness, and it runs darker and more adult than parent series Doctor Who. BBC Three pulled it after one season of eight episodes, leaving the story unfinished.
