Synopsis
Watch The First 9½ Weeks (1998) online — an erotic thriller directed by Alex Wright, serving as a prequel to Adrian Lyne's 1986 film. Investment banker Matt Wade travels to New Orleans to close a deal with eccentric millionaire François Dubois, played by Malcolm McDowell with a measured kind of menace.
Inside Dubois' estate, Matt falls hard for the man's young wife Emily, and what starts as desire turns into something much more exposed. When Dubois finds out, he doesn't rage — he sets Matt up for a murder charge instead. Paul Mercurio and Clara Bellar lead; Frederic Forrest also appears.
