The Operative

The Operative (2019) is a spy thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Yuval Adler and based on a novel by Sarah Bram. Diane Kruger plays a multilingual recruit pulled into the Mossad's orbit, with Martin Freeman as the handler steering her from a safe distance.

Rachel slips into Tehran without drawing a second glance. Her assignment: get close to a local businessman named Farhad, map his connections, report back. The longer she stays, the more the edges of her cover start to blur. When she finally goes dark and leaves Thomas a cryptic message, neither her handlers nor the audience can be sure which side she has chosen.

Shot partly on location in Tehran, the film trades action-movie spectacle for slow, deliberate tension — the kind that lives in pauses and glances rather than gunfights.
