Synopsis
Kaiju No. 8 (2024), Season 1 — watch online on iFILM, 23 episodes of anime action-fantasy from Japan. Kafka Hibino has failed the Defense Force entrance exam three times running. He mops up kaiju carcasses for a living — until a parasite slips inside him and turns him into one.
Suddenly he has the power he always wanted, and the worst possible reason to hide it. Kafka talks his way through the exam, earns a provisional spot in the force, and almost immediately runs into Kaiju No. 9 — an intelligent humanoid creature with its own agenda. Keeping the secret gets harder each mission. When it finally surfaces, the Defense Force's top command gets involved, and Kafka has to prove he's still human where it counts. A mass kaiju swarm over Tokyo raises the stakes for everyone.
