Synopsis
Animaniacs Season 2 is ready to watch online on iFILM — 44 episodes of the 2020 reboot's second run, released in 2021, with Yakko, Wakko and Dot still loose on the Warner Bros. lot and still gunning for any authority figure with an oversized ego.
This time the show leans hard into history. The Warners tangle with Nero in ancient Rome, climb inside the Bayeux Tapestry, sing about the Magna Carta, stretch Oliver Twist across two parts, and put Christopher Columbus on trial. Around that runs a string of digital-age jabs: spam, targeted ads, the paralysis of scrolling a streaming menu with nothing to pick. Pinky and the Brain keep reaching for power — through dictatorship, a beauty pageant, the ISS, and a Reichenbach Falls showdown with an old foe.
The original cast carries it again — Rob Paulsen, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille. Season 2 packs in more musical numbers and educational gags than the first and hops between eras just as fast, often inside a single two-minute bit.
