Synopsis
Queen of Tears (2024), Season 1 is a romance-drama you can watch online on iFILM — sixteen episodes about a marriage on the brink. Hong Hae-in runs a department-store empire; her husband Baek Hyun-woo, a village chief's son turned company lawyer, married into it three years ago. By now they barely speak.
Then a single diagnosis rewrites everything. Hyun-woo starts treating his wife with care again, and neither of them can tell where guilt ends and old love begins. The season walks the couple from divorce papers back toward each other — a trip to his loud rural family in Yongdu-ri, the return of Hae-in's college classmate Eun-sung with designs on Queens Group, a vicious fight over the family inheritance, and a threat that closes in on the pair themselves. The stakes climb on both fronts at once.
Writer Park Ji-eun, who gave us Crash Landing on You, brings the same blend of heartbreak and comedy. Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won sell both the fatigue of a long marriage and its second wind, which is why this became one of the highest-rated dramas in tvN history.
