Murphy Brown (1988) is an American comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Created by Diane English, the show built a workplace sitcom around a woman who speaks to executives the way most people speak to waiters — directly, without charm. Co-anchors Phil Kimberly (Charles Kimbrough) and Corky Sherwood (Faith Ford) orbit Murphy like survivors of a minor weather event. The show's political edge became literal in 1992 when Vice President Dan Quayle went on television to respond to Murphy's fictional out-of-wedlock pregnancy.
