Synopsis

Mary Louise Wright — Perry's mother, played by Meryl Streep — arrives in Monterey asking quiet, pointed questions about her son's death. She is not convinced by the answers. Celeste fights a custody battle while sessions with her therapist keep surfacing memories she'd rather bury. Renata watches her husband torch their finances and her composure along with them. Bonnie carries guilt she cannot speak aloud. The lie that bound five women together on one terrible night is slowly pulling them apart.
