A solar probe stumbles on a planet hidden directly behind the Sun — sharing Earth's orbit, yet forever screened from view on the opposite side. The European Space Exploration Council and NASA mount a crewed mission: American astronaut Glenn Ross (Roy Thinnes) at the controls, British scientist John Kane (Ian Hendry) beside him. What waits on the twin world bends the idea of home itself, and that part is better left unspoiled.
