Boot Hill

Boot Hill (1969) is an Italian Spaghetti Western with a comic streak that you can watch online on iFILM. It's one of the early Terence Hill and Bud Spencer pairings.

The Old West, deep in a gold rush. A gang on the payroll of a local mining boss picks off lone prospectors one by one and grabs their claims. A wounded man on the run stumbles into a traveling circus, and out of that unlikely mix of acrobats, a strongman and two gunfighters you don't want to cross comes a crew ready to hit back. Fists fly more often than bullets here, and the brawls are staged like clowning.

Giuseppe Colizzi directed it, closing out his trilogy with Hill and Spencer. Woody Strode and Victor Buono round out the cast. This isn't a stern Leone Western — it's the cheerful kid brother: dust, shootouts and pratfalls for the fun of it. Made for anyone who likes their spaghetti Westerns with zero solemnity.
