Synopsis
Jury Duty (1995) is a goofy Pauly Shore comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Tommy Collins is a broke slacker who lives in a trailer with his mom and would do anything to avoid an actual job.
Then he spots a loophole. Land a spot on a sequestered murder-trial jury and you get a free hotel, free meals and five bucks a day — so Tommy schemes his way into the box and sets out to stretch the trial as long as humanly possible. He stalls deliberations, blocks the other jurors from reaching a verdict and turns the courtroom into his personal playground. The catch: clowning around, the dimwit stumbles onto a lead the investigation missed. Tia Carrere plays a fellow juror he likes, Stanley Tucci a fed-up attorney, and Abe Vigoda brings the deadpan.
Director John Fortenberry built it as a pure mid-90s vehicle for Shore's loud, dopey shtick, with no higher ambitions. It is comfort food for anyone who misses dumb-fun comedies from that decade. Stream Jury Duty (1995) online on iFILM.
