Synopsis
Small Apartments (2012) is a dark crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by music-video auteur Jonas Åkerlund. Franklin Franklin is an oddball loner who lives in a grimy little flat, wears cut-off jean shorts and plays an alphorn — until the day he accidentally kills his landlord.
From there his quiet, careful existence unravels. He has to get rid of the body and stay invisible, but the building won't cooperate: a nosy detective circles, the neighbors won't shut up, a runaway teen drifts into his orbit, and his dead brother keeps talking in his head. Matt Lucas anchors a wild ensemble — James Caan, Billy Crystal, Peter Stormare, Juno Temple, James Marsden, and Dolph Lundgren as a self-help guru beaming wisdom off a worn-out VHS tape.
