Liar (Seasons 1–2)

Liar (2017) is a British crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Schoolteacher Laura and surgeon Andrew go on a date, and by morning their accounts of the night have split into two stories that cannot both be true.

Laura accuses Andrew of assault. He denies it — calm, plausible, a man used to being believed. The show refuses to let you settle on either side, stretching the tension across six episodes as the town picks a camp. Joanne Froggatt and Ioan Gruffudd play it so finely that you suspect each of them in turn.
