Non Non Biyori Season 3 (2021) brings twelve more episodes you can watch online on iFILM. Six years on from Season 2, the Asahigaoka kids are back, only now childhood is slowly outgrowing them.
The big addition is Akane, a shy flutist who panics playing in front of others and soon folds into the group. Much of the season's quiet tension circles her and the older girls: entrance exams loom, and a few of them catch themselves growing up for the first time. Around that runs the usual mosaic — an overnight camping trip, a bonsai planter smashed by a "Surefire Kill Shot" and the clumsy apology that follows, Hotaru's doomed attempt at building a toy robot, New Year's allowance burning a hole in everyone's pocket. It closes on cherry blossoms, the same image that opened the very first season.
