To keep it all running, though, he long ago shook hands with mob boss Ben Diamond — a coiled, menacing turn from Danny Huston — and now the gangsters have their fingers in both his business and his family. Olga Kurylenko, Steven Strait and Kelly Lynch round out a world that glitters by day and turns to drugs, FBI men and strippers behind velvet curtains by night.

Creator Mitch Glazer made a retro noir about an era when American glamour ran on dirty money, and the late-fifties suits, music and interiors are rendered with obsessive care.
