Electrick Children

Rachel grows up in a fundamentalist family in southern Utah, where almost everything worldly is off limits. Weeks later she discovers she's pregnant and insists the song is responsible. As her parents rush to arrange a marriage, Rachel slips away to Las Vegas to track down the singer on the tape, certain he's tied to whatever happened to her.

This debut feature comes from Rebecca Thomas, who drew on her own Mormon upbringing. Julia Garner (later of Ozark) leads before her breakout, with Rory Culkin and Billy Zane beside her.
