Synopsis
Girl vs. Monster (2012) is a Disney Channel original movie directed by Stuart Gillard — watch it online on iFILM. Sixteen-year-old Skylar has never been allowed out on Halloween. Her parents always have an excuse. This year she sneaks out anyway, accidentally breaks open a secret containment chamber in the basement, and unleashes the monsters her family has been trapping for generations.
It turns out the family trade is monster hunting — five generations of it. The creatures feed on human fear, and now they have Skylar's parents. She and her friends have to track every monster down and get them back in the chamber before things get worse. Olivia Holt plays Skylar, and one of the monsters has a direct connection to her own past.
