Crashing (2017) is an HBO comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM, created by Judd Apatow and Pete Holmes. The show follows Pete — a standup in crisis after catching his wife with another man — as he loses his apartment and crashes on couches across New York City, grinding the open-mic circuit from the bottom up.

What makes it work: Holmes plays a lightly fictionalised version of himself, and the revolving door of real standups — Ray Romano, Dave Attell, John Mulaney — showing up as versions of themselves gives the show a lived-in texture most comedy series can't fake.
