Synopsis
Snatched (2017) is the action comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Jonathan Levine and pairing Amy Schumer with Goldie Hawn as a daughter and mother whose Ecuador trip goes very wrong.
Emily (Schumer) gets dumped right before a non-refundable vacation, so she drags along her cautious, homebody mom Linda (Hawn). Sun, cocktails, a little poolside flirting, and then both women are kidnapped and hauled into the jungle. What follows is a scrappy escape full of chases, bad decisions and the urge to throttle each other before the kidnappers do. For Hawn, this marked a return to the screen after a fifteen-year break.
Katie Dippold (The Heat) wrote the script, and the humor runs crude and a little reckless. The plot is thin; the movie lives on the chemistry between its two leads, Hawn dry and deadpan, Schumer barreling ahead. Easy, undemanding fun for a night you just want laughs.
