Synopsis
Marvel's Avengers Season 4 (2017) — 25 episodes, watch online on iFILM. This one starts with a reset: The Leader and his new Cabal dismantle the original team in the opening two episodes.
Black Panther steps into a leadership role he wasn't built for and assembles a new squad from scratch. Hercules shows up carrying a reason for being in New York he isn't sharing. Captain Marvel contains a prison break. Ant-Man pulls teammates out of Dimension Z. The half-assembled team doesn't move like the original, and that friction runs through the season's first half. Kang resurfaces and pulls Vision and Wasp into the future to retrieve Falcon. Loki quietly takes Earth while everyone else is occupied.
The second half drops the Avengers into Battleworld — a patchwork reality where an 1872 Wild West, a mystical Weirdworld, and a ruined Wastelands occupy different zones. They need the Bifrost to undo it. The Beyonder runs the board. Loki makes his move for Sorcerer Supreme in the finale. Season 4 pushes deeper into cosmic and mystic territory than any previous year — more locations, stranger threats, and a Black Panther leadership arc that gives the show a center of gravity it was missing.
